Who this is for

This portal is a private, residents-only service run by West Street, Carshalton, Residents Association Limited. Accounts are intended for residents of Sycamore Close Residents. Please don't share your sign-in link with anyone who doesn't live here.

Respectful use

• Post, comment, and message civilly. Disagree in good faith; attack ideas, not people.
• No harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks — on the forum, in comments, or via the contact form.
• Don't share other residents' personal details (their name, flat, or email) without their permission. Use the directory settings on your Profile page to control what you personally share.
• Treat information you see about other residents as confidential to this portal.

What the portal is (and isn't)

We provide this portal as a convenience for running the association. Notices posted here are not a substitute for formal legal notices that the lease or your managing agent may require — treat the portal as a supplementary channel.

Your responsibility

• Keep the email on your account up to date (you can change it on your Profile page).
• Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
• If you think an account has been compromised, sign out on the affected device and ask a director to reset your access.

Moderation

Directors may remove posts or comments that breach these terms, and in serious cases may suspend an account. Sanctions will be proportionate and the reason will be explained on request.

Privacy

How your data is handled is described in our privacy policy. In short: we don't share your data beyond the directors and (with your permission) the managing agent, and you can download a copy of everything we hold via your profile at any time.

Service & liability

We try to keep the portal available and bug-free, but it's provided on an as-is basis. Directors aren't liable for the portal being temporarily unavailable, nor for user-generated content posted by other residents.

Changes

If these terms change meaningfully, we'll notify residents. Continued use of the portal after a change is posted means you accept the new terms.
